ABOUT THE EVENT /
I'm not much of a birthday celebrator. But considering it's a big one, I figured I would make an exception. Besides...it's just one more excuse to organize a tango event and gather people who are most dear to me. Everyone who has been invited, I hand picked because of one reason or another but all because we either have a meaningful connection already or you're someone I would love to connect with even if we don't know each other (yet). So please join me for a weekend of friendship, connection, and of course dancing. I would be honored to have your presence.

No drop ins, full weekend passes only

Refunds are possible before July 1st 2023, minus $15 fee

No refunds after July 1st 2023 (Pass transfers will be allowed within the cincOH group with my approval and $15 fee)

Filling out the Registration form does not guarantee entrance to the event. To finalize your Registration, payment must be sent within 72 hours of receiving a confirmation email with payment instructions.

Code of Conduct: This event is a Safe Space. Everyone who attends must agree to a Code of Conduct at the time of Registration. Anyone who violates this Code may be subject to immediate action per the terms therein. < See the Code of Conduct or Report Harm >

Photography: Participants understand that images/video will be taken at cincOH and may be used for promotional purposes. Registration implies implicit consent of image use for these purposes. Participants may opt out by sending an email to James at locatangoproject@gmail.com

Hold Harmless: Participants are aware that cincOH (hereinafter referred to as the "Event" or "cincOH") will be held in person and, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives, agree to hold the organizers and volunteers of the Event harmless and agree to discharge, release, or waive any claim of liability or damages for any economic loss or injury, physical or emotional, that they might suffer as a result of their participating in the Event. Should any claim be brought by them against cincOH for liability, economic loss, physical injury and/or damages resulting from their participation in the Event, travel to and from the Event (including air travel), or any activities incidental to the Event, they will be responsible for any reasonable attorney fees and cost for having to defend against such action.

COVID Contagion: Participants acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily participate in cincOH knowing that participating in the Event increases their risk of exposure.

We reserve the right to change or modify any of the Terms and Conditions listed above.
EVENT CANCELLATION
In the event that cincOH is cancelled due to COVID, natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstances, all registrants will be refunded in full minus a $15 fee, or provided with a full pass for a designated future event with us.
COVID 19
COVID testing (rapid or PCR) within 24 hours is required for all participants to attend cincOH.
Cancellations due to COVID: In the event of a positive COVID diagnosis (proof of positive test required), we will provide a refund of your registration minus 20% fee.

At cincOH, we value the health, safety and well-being of all our guests, and we expect that the event will be free from harassment and disrespectful or inappropriate (verbal or non-verbal) behavior. We rely on our attendees to prioritize the comfort and enjoyment of everyone around them, remembering that tango is best danced in an environment of openness and trust.
We therefore expect that guests will:
• Respect the etiquette of mirada and cabeceo
• Refrain from coercive or persistent invitations
• Refrain from following, stalking, or monopolizing other attendees
• Not engage in disrespectful, uninvited or inappropriate touch, on or off the dance floor
• Hear and respect the verbal and non-verbal communication of partners
• Not use threatening or discriminatory language
• Recognize and protect the boundaries of others
• Respect the entrance etiquette, flow and lanes of the ronda
• Not dance in a way that endangers yourself, your partner or others on the dance floor
• Not engage in any form of harassment*
The cincOH team takes harassment very seriously and is committed to maintaining a safe and peaceful event. We will act promptly to address behavior that violates our code of conduct. If you believe you have been subjected to (or have witnessed) such behavior, you are encouraged to contact James Oh, or make an anonymous report using the button below.

All reports will be reviewed by James Oh. James will determine if and what course of action should be taken, based on the wishes of the reporting party. Potential actions may include education about consent, removal from the event, or legal action in accordance with applicable laws.

*Harassment includes offensive verbal comments (related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion), sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of the event, inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
